BELLA ITALY

                              Finale Ligure

Finale Ligure is a comune on the Gulf of Genoa in the Province of Savona in Liguria, Italy
It is considered part of the Italian Riviera.
Finale Ligure is located directly adjacent to the Rock of Caprazoppa, a steep limestone mountain on the southwest, and much of the town extends up hill slopes.

The first Palm Trees we have seen since San Diego!
Feels like home!

Italians & their Scooters

Big thanks to this amazing, older, Italian couple
who lead us to our camping location by scooter!

You better be ready to drive fast & get comfortable squeezing through
tight streets.
Benvenuti in Italia !

Arriving at our campground

la vita è bellissima~The beautiful life

Feeling  right at home in our new space for the next week.

Are we really in this little slice of paradise?

Ahhhh... The Ligurian Sea...
our first taste of salt after 1 1/2 months in Germany!!!

Catching some Italian white wash.

Ocean kisses

Italian Gourds

where else can you climb with a fig tree growing out of the rock?!

what have we here....? A bee hive. I love this place!

Evening in Finale.

Climbing over the waters of Finale,
by far my favorite climbing experience!!!!!!

I love my "Fabeanie"!!!!!!
Thank you for making this experience possible my love!
Life is an endless adventure with you.

I love Finale

Italy Amore!

Flinging myself into the waves!

I loved playing with bending around the sunlight

Via Roma

A taste of  "Roma"

Italian music fills the night air

                           A Day in Cinque Terre

Steph and I took a train ride with our bike along the  Cinque Terre coast.

                                     Vernazza

Bridging over Italy

Meditating with Steph

The Love locks made their way to Italy!

Through the cave,

opening up to the ocean

This day I learned to respect the ocean...

I dared to climb the rocks to feel the ocean spray and the adrenaline rush
of the waves pulling me away...

I got my fix and should have pulled away but my timing was off,  I did delay,
slipped from the rock and was sucked out to sea,the current was strong but my will stronger
and within three waves I was back on shore with a greater respect the ocean for sure.
Mermaid Steph

That was enough of Manarola for the day.
We grabbed our bikes and headed on our way.

No fear from this little guy

                         Monterosso al Mare

The area is famous for its many lemon trees.
It is also renowned for its white wines, grapes, and olives.

I think zucchinis too!

Its a good life for a cat

Riomaggiore
The Via 'dell Amore The Way of Love is a path connecting Riomaggiore to Manerloa

Back to Finale but we will be back next year to explore all the beautiful trails here!

Waiting for the train back to Finale...in Italy you get use to "rushing to wait"
In the mean time...there is always stretching!

                                                                 Buon giorno Finale!
